PANEL TWO
In December 2022, the Center organized a full-day conference on Russia’s war on Ukraine consisting of four panels with experts from universities in North America, and three from Ukraine (two on zoom, one in person). The topics discussed ranged from the Russian invasion and Ukrainian resistance to evaluating the West’s response to the war. Panelists also addressed the war in a global context highlighting China’s and EU’s response. The panelists, faculty, students, and guests were joined at the Atheneum for lunch by Ukrainian journalist Anna Romandash and Ukrainian professors Polina Sinovets and Volodymir Dubovyk on zoom sharing their voices and perspective from the war on the ground.
