From 2021 to 2024, The Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies in collaboration with the Gould Center for Humanistic Studies sponsored Passion Projects over the winter break.

Each institute sponsor 8- 15 students. The passion projects were meant to be short-term independent projects of an appropriate scope to be completed over the break (approximately 50 hours of work). Students completing passion projects received fellowship awards of $600.
